My name is Nicolas Kruse, I’m researcher and engineer. My professional activities range from fundamental studies of heat and mass transport in new materials to the modelling of fuel cell/electrolysis systems and membrane processes. A central element of my work is the development of specialized software, electronics, devices and experimental plants for novel experiments and other applications that exceed the capabilities of readily available solutions.

Thanks to my passion for technology and science I gained experience in a wide range of disciplines beside my formal education in chemical engineering. That includes software development, electrical engineering, electronics and digital signal processing. This interdisciplinary toolbox enabled me to develop new integrated approaches for unsolved challenges.

If you come up with a new challenge, need consultancy or simply like to discuss an interesting scientific or technical issue please feel free to contact me.
